I found a whole new place to play - it is under the deck and it is my backyard! It is so cool.
The Queen goes out there all the time, but I only went out there on Sunday for the first time. It is pretty cool, I can run around and not have to be tied to the cable - like when I go out front.
Mom tried to convinced me to go down the basement steps - nope, no good. So Dad got in on it - they always gang up on me, wonder why? Anyway, when I would not go down the basement steps with Mom, Dad convinced me to go down - just like he did with the other steps. He put me halfway down and stood behind me to help me out. These steps are not like the other ones, they were slippery.
Once down the steps it was out back - and boy did I have fun! Mom was a little concerned since I am suppose to still be taking it easy until I see Dr. Debbie in two weeks, but Dad said I needed to get some exercise. We were out in the yard for about an hour.
When we came in I was expected to go back up those steps - NO WAY.
They are scary steps. They are not like the ones I use to go to bed at night. The ones I use at night are carpeted and have a full railing, these are not carpeted - they do have these little rug thingys, but they do not help me from sliding. These steps also are open, they have a railing but it does not touch the tops of the steps - it is only for your hand.
Anyway, Dad had to carry me up the steps because no matter what they did, or how much coaxing they tried, I would not budge.
So, after my fun in the yard and my ordeal with the steps I had to chill out. I ended up lounging in Dad's chair, watching TV and I fell asleep.
