It is me - Pele.
Yeah, I get to use the 'puter!
Georgie says it is OK for us to share.
So, I will be nice - for now. Hehehe! :-)
With that being said I am writing about the visitors that are under my deck. Yep, that's right - my deck.
There are tiny little baby birds under there - Robins. There are four of them under there.
They are hiding in this picture. You can barely see their little heads above the nest.
This is a better picture. You can clearly see three of them. There is one on the other side of the nest.
Here is the Mommy bird waiting for us to go in the house so she can feed her babies. Of course when Mom sees her she makes us go in. Mom is no fun!! :-(
I try to check them out but Mom is always there with us, ready to usher us into the house if they fall out of their nest. That's no fun, she says I am NOT allowed to play with them. She says she doesn't want me to hurt or eat them!!!
Mom doesn't like when me (above) or Georgie (below) checks out the deck support that the nest is built on. I mean it's not like we can climb up there !? I might find a way - Hehe!!!
So, we assume that there is going to come a day when we will not be allowed in the yard because of those stupid birds.
Mom forgets they are there sometimes, especially when she waters her container garden - which happens to be on the deck OVER the nest. So the birds end up getting a shower whenever she waters her plants.
They are mean birds, they tease me all the time!! They fly really close, then when I try to catch one of them, they fly away. Sometimes they even walk on my lawn, but when I get close...poof, they are gone!!
Stupid birds!!
I am gonna catch me a bird one day!!!

I think I would go nuts if there were birdies under my deck (if I had one). There are chickens on the other side of my fence and I can't stand it!
