Off To The Doggie Spa

We went to the Doggie Spa yesterday to get groomed so we look pretty for the parade.

Actually we usually go this time of year - we always go to the groomers at the change of the seasons. Mom thinks it helps us when we are blowing our coats, but it doesn't.

We got yellow bandannas this time around, that now makes three that I have: a light green one, a red one from the Fox Chase event, and now a yellow one.

Neither one of us really wanted to be there yesterday - it was damp and rainy and all we wanted to do was curl up at home and relax, but Momm said we had to go. Usually when we go they do us one at a time, but this time they did us together - Mom was glad about that because it took only an hour instead of 2 or 3. I got my bath first then Her Fluffiness (who is even fluffier now!) got hers, we were dried off together.

Queen Fluffy Butt did pretty good this time - she HATES going to the Spa. She was pretty quiet until they started washing her hind quarters and legs, but I think that is because her arthuritis is bothering her. She is usually very, very noisy - crying, screaming and carrying on, but not this time. However, cutting her nails was a different story. What a racket she made!

I have to admit, I was not really interested in being there either. They had me tied next to a door so they could dry me (the door lead to another grooming area), I kept pushing the door so that I could get out - no good, she always nudged me back into the room. I wouldn't get to far anyway, I was tied up, but it was worth a try.

But anyway, my Cuteness is cuter and Magic's Fluffiness is fluffier. We look good and are all ready for the Parade on Sunday.

Hey, Magic and Georgie. I'll see you at the parade, but they're not giving me any bath first. They better not. I hope my humans don't see this post and get any ideas.

I went to the spa before - Once. Mom and Dad didn't take me back because the grooming lady complained that I was mean. I wasn't being mean - just trying to play. Some people don't understand that huskies use their mouths to play. I hope you enjoy the parade. I won't be there, but Sky will.

Hi Sasha, I tried giving her my best sad eye look but it didn't work. She tricked us, we thought we were going to the Park on the River. I guess we need to be more careful.
See ya at the Parade

Hi Kelsey Ann, I think some people just don't understand us Huskies. We L-O-V-E to play and use our mouths. I use mine sometimes, even when I give kisses I sometimes give a little nibble.
Sorry, you won't be at the parade. We are going to take some pictures so check back early next week to see them.

Hi Steve, Kat & Wilbur, Thanks. Our Mommy likes them too - yellow is her favorite color.
We didn't make it to the parade. It was postponed until next week.
